The 11th Julian Rachlin & Friends Festival closed with a delightful program called Humoresque. The audience rose to their feet and cheered in joy to congratulate this splendid performance! The moral of the evening was – Laughter brings us together!

Joining forces with celebrities for a good cause – In addition to giving master classes, Julian Rachlin is a Unicef Goodwill Ambassador since 2010, dedicated to the education of the next generation of classical music lovers. He has successfully produced and participated in a number of related events. During the 10th edition of his festival in 2010, Julian organized a UNICEF fundraising soccer game where musicians and actors played against journalists and members of the press. Professional soccer players were placed on both teams and, at the end of the game, Julian and Sir Roger Moore made a public donation to Unicef. This event planted the seed for a similar event this year which included FC Barcelona.
