Visiting the website
The website and its hosting services process technical information needed to deliver pages and keep the site secure. This may include your IP address, browser and device information, the pages requested, referring page, request time and error information. Hosting and technical support providers process this information as needed to operate, maintain and protect the website.
The legal basis is our legitimate interest in providing a reliable, secure website and preventing misuse, under Article 6(1)(f) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Technical records are kept only for the period needed to investigate faults, maintain security and deal with any related legal obligations or claims.
Contacting the private office
If you email the office, we use your contact details, message and any information you provide to handle your enquiry and related correspondence. Relevant members of the office or professional representatives may receive the information where needed to respond. Email and technical service providers may process it on our behalf.
The legal basis is taking steps at your request before a contract, or performing a contract, under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR where relevant. For other correspondence, it is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries under Article 6(1)(f). We keep correspondence for as long as needed to answer you, manage the relationship and meet any applicable record-keeping obligations or resolve legal claims. Please provide only information relevant to your enquiry.
Cookies and your choices
Necessary technology keeps the site working and remembers your cookie choices. Optional analytics and external video services require your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can reject optional services and continue to browse the website.
Use Cookie settings in the footer to change your choices or withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawal applies to future processing and does not affect the lawfulness of processing before you withdrew consent. Our Cookie Policy explains the categories, storage and controls in more detail.
Google Analytics
If you allow Analytics, Google Analytics helps us understand how visitors find and use the website. It can process information about pages visited, referral sources, interactions, approximate location derived from technical connection data, and browser and device characteristics. It uses browser identifiers and cookies to distinguish visits and prepare reports.
The Google tag stays inactive until you give analytics consent. If you reject or withdraw that consent, the tag is blocked on subsequent page loads. We do not ask analytics to collect the contents of email enquiries.
The service is provided in Europe by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Google may process information through its group companies and service providers outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Google’s terms describe the applicable international transfer safeguards, including adequacy decisions where applicable and standard contractual clauses. See Google’s Privacy Policy and Google’s data processing terms.
Analytics cookies can last for up to two years, depending on the cookie and browser settings. Reporting information is retained for the period needed to understand website use and trends; Google Analytics also applies the property’s data retention settings to user-level and event-level information.
YouTube videos
The Video page uses YouTube, provided in Europe by Google Ireland Limited. Gallery thumbnails are served from this website. YouTube players and hover previews load only if you enable External videos.
When a player loads, your browser connects to YouTube and sends technical information such as your IP address, device and browser information and the page containing the video. When you play a video, YouTube may use cookies or browser storage and process viewing information. If you are signed in to a Google account, Google may associate activity with that account. Players use YouTube’s privacy-enhanced domain, youtube-nocookie.com; this does not remove the need for your consent.
You can withdraw this permission through Cookie settings. YouTube’s processing, retention and international transfers are explained in Google’s Privacy Policy. You can also follow an external YouTube link and watch there under YouTube’s own privacy arrangements.
Links to other websites
The site links to concert presenters, ticket sellers, recording retailers, social networks and other external websites. Following one of these links takes you to a separate service with its own privacy and cookie arrangements. Your choices on this website do not automatically apply there.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you have the right to request access to your personal information, correction of inaccurate information, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests on grounds relating to your particular situation. You can withdraw consent at any time where consent is the basis for processing.
To exercise your rights, contact office@julianrachlin.com. We may need enough information to verify your identity and locate the relevant records. You do not have to provide personal information to browse ordinary website content; an enquiry may require contact information so we can reply.
You can complain to the Austrian Data Protection Authority (Datenschutzbehörde), or to the supervisory authority in the country where you live, work or believe an infringement has occurred. We do not use information from this website for automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page if the website’s services or privacy arrangements change. The date above shows the latest revision.
